If there were any lingering doubts about Anthony Joshua and his abilities, the British superstar erased them in emphatic fashion on Saturday night in Saudi Arabia.

Joshua Dominates from the Start

Joshua, a former two-time unified heavyweight champion, came out aggressive and never let up against Francis Ngannou, a former UFC heavyweight champion making his boxing debut.

Joshua landed a flurry of punches in the first round, and Ngannou was visibly shaken. Joshua continued to pour it on in the second round, and a left hook to the head sent Ngannou crashing to the canvas.

Ngannou was unable to beat the count, and Joshua was declared the winner by knockout.

The victory was a huge statement from Joshua, who had been written off by some after back-to-back losses to Oleksandr Usyk.
