Dortmund Coach Says PSG Built to Win UCL
Terzic Comments Ahead of Champions League Semi-Final
Dortmund Faces Tough Task against French Giants
Borussia Dortmund coach Edin Terzic has acknowledged the formidable challenge his team faces in the upcoming Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain. Terzic was quoted as saying that PSG is "a team that is built to win the competition" and has a "squad with incredible quality."
Dortmund, meanwhile, has exceeded expectations this season, reaching the semi-finals for the first time since 2013. However, Terzic is aware of the task that his team faces against a PSG side that boasts world-class players such as Neymar, Kylian Mbappé, and Lionel Messi.
"We know that we're the underdogs in this tie, but we're going to give it our all and try to make it as difficult as possible for PSG," said Terzic. "We've shown this season that we can compete with anyone, and we're confident that we can cause an upset."
The first leg of the semi-final will be played at the Parc des Princes in Paris on April 28, with the return leg at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund on May 5.
